Parents plan a lot for their children - education, support, hobbies, sports. In all these activities the child will perform differently based on his/her interest, skill, strength. It is the parent's duty to see the pattern in the performance of the child.   A child's career planning is one of the most important duties of a parent. It needs time, patience and a lot of continuous effort.  Even being at the helm of affairs may not be enough because of the changing dynamics of a child's life. So what is the best way forward.
