What is Assessment?

Parents must know everything about their children.

Parents must understand the strengths and weaknesses of their children.

Parents can take decisions regarding their children's future when they have complete details of their children.

As you can understand from the above, Assessment is the process of knowing a person in detail. The details then help to create a profile of the individual to help others know the subject well. In case of a child, it is mostly the parents who would like to be informed. Assessment thus is also a process of seeking additional help to know a child better.

A good assessment process will get many important facts out. It will shed light on those aspects which were hitherto unknown to the parent. The process also provides actionable insights on what needs to be done for the future. It is also an enabling tool for successful build up of a future and there is nothing better than securing a child's future by right mix of knowledge, hard work, guidance and mentorship.

As we move forward in life, we need support on many fronts. For a child, parents must seek out whats best for their child. A good assessment thus can be another arrow in a quiver.
